Aldi Grocery Shopping - Link Up At The Aldi Savings Linky

I ended a day of shopping and playing with a trip to Aldi yesterday, and my toddler was ready for his nap, so it had to be a quick trip. I had stopped by Sedanos, a local grocery store focused on Latin American food, earlier in the day and gotten some great deals on produce that Aldi did not have on sale.

I still needed to pick up eggs, orange juice and meat at Aldi, but I was suprised to see that the milk had gone up even more than last week.

My Aldi Grocery Shopping Trip

4 x Aldi Orange Juice @ $1.99 each = $7.96
2 x Aldi canned corn @ $0.49 each = $0.99
Aldi Instant Oatmeal $1.39
2 lbs red grapes $1.98
3 lbs Granny Smith Apples $3.19
Lettuce $1.18
2.67 lbs Banana @ $0.44/lb $1.17
Chicken Drumstics @ $1.29/lb $3.74
2 x Large Eggs @ $1.39 = $2.78

Total out of pocket $24.37
Total Saved 6.27

Savings are calculated compared to the lowest price at my regular grocery stores. Take a look at the Aldi price list and price comparison list with Publix, Target, Winn-Dixie and Walmart.

I would love to hear how you did on your grocery shopping this week.

Aldi Prices South Florida Produce Prices Starting Wednesday September 28

This week Aldi has fruit on sale, so you can make a great frugal fruit salad.

Check out the new produce prices that Aldi in Florida has this week.

I checked the oranges, and they are not from Florida yet. The oranges are from Chile, they are rather small, and they are only 3 lbs compared to 4 lbs last fall for the same price.

If you buy the grapes, the red grapes are best, but they are not fantastic. The red grapes in my local South Florida Aldi store was from the US (California), and came under the brand PRODUCE KOUNTRY. In the past I have gotten some great grapes from Aldi, so I was a little disappointed this time around. Still, my five-year-old son who never eats any fruits actually ate some of the grapes, so at $0.99/lb I cannot be too disappointed.

This week's new Aldi produce prices in South Florida Starting 9/28
Naval oranges 3 lbs (Chile) $1.99
Red grapes/green grapes 2 lbs $1.99
Pineapple $1.49

Cheap Produce at Aldi - Saved $12 - Link Up At The Aldi Savings Linky

My kids had a half day at school today, which meant I had to get out of the house early to get grocery shopping done before the kids were done with school. My toddler and I were able to make an early bus, and then we headed for Aldi and Target. When the kids were done, my husband picked them up and then came to pick me up with the groceries and all my fantastic Target clearance deals.

This week Aldi has some great produce prices, so I made sure to pick up a little bit of everything. We are still eating Aldi's great red potatoes from last week, and my pantry is stocked up, so we did not need much from Aldi this week. I usually buy all our breads at Aldi, but this week I have been able to get free bread at Target.

New September Aldi Price List - Grocery Price Comparison List With Publix, Target, Winn-Dixie and Walmart

I have finally put together the first September Aldi price list and Aldi grocery price comparison list. With the kids back in school, I needed to get into a new routine, and it seems I have finally got my shopping schedule back on track. I have added a few new items such as Tomato juice and taco shells on the Aldi price list, and if you have any request please just leave a comment.

I have also created a Aldi Meat Prices list, where you can compare your own grocery store's sales prices to make sure you get the best price on the meat your family eats.
The South Florida prices are usually a bit higher than the average, but despite any minor grocery price differences, you can usually count on the products still being cheaper, where I have highlighted it.

Grocery prices change often, and it is impossible for me to keep updated on all prices at all times, so please use the below grocery price list as a guide.

You can find the latest Aldi Ad here.

If you have arrived at an older version of the price comparison list, you can find the newest version at the Aldi Price List.

Cheap Potatoes at Aldi - Link Up At The Aldi Savings Linky

I had to get the cheap red potatoes at Aldi this week, because I have been waiting for a reasonable price on potatoes all summer.

So, when I was headed for Target anyway, I made sure to make a stop at Aldi too. At Target I discovered that a lot of items had gone to 75 percent off Target clearance, including pools, pool toys, fitness gear, gardening products, bras, clothing and more, and before I made my way to Aldi I ended up filling my cart with Target clearance products.

Aldi Nutella!!! Berryhill Hazelnut Spread Finally at Aldi

Aldi Nutella Berryhill Hazelnut Spread
Aldi must be reading my mind, because it is not that long ago that I sent a wish out in Cyberspace for Aldi Nutella, well an Aldi version of the Nutella brand. I knew it was possible, and sure enough today I found Aldi Berryhill hazelnut spread on the shelf at my local South Florida Aldi store.

At $1.99, the Aldi hazelnut spread is about $1 - $1.50 less than the Nutella brand, so this is definitely a bargain. My kids just tested the Aldi hazelnut spread this afternoon, and there was consensus. The Aldi Hazelnut Spread from Berryhill tastes just as great as the regular Nutella.

I know hazelnut spreads are not the healthiest thing in the world, and I am sure there will be someone out there in Cyberworld who will ask me how I can feed it to my kids. The answer is simple: My kids eat healthy, but once in a while they need a treat!

Aldi Grocery Shopping - Aldi Cheese Puffs - Link Up at the Aldi Savings Linky

Yesterday I did the last shopping for my son's birthday party, and it included a stop at Aldi to pick up some cheap snacks. I have never been a fan of cheese puffs, and I think I have bought them once for my own kids - at their request. But, but, but I am very aware of the popularity of Cheese Puffs, so I decided to surprise my son and pick up a bunch of Aldi cheese puffs for the party.

Aldi Shopping - Saved $15 @ Aldi - Link Up at the Aldi Savings Linky

I did not go Aldi shopping last week, which meant that we were now out of Aldi staples such as oatmeal, veggies and meat. I was surprised to see that Aldi eggs had gone up to $1.49, so it is a good thing that I picked up eggs at Walgreens for $1.29 each this week.

On a positive note, I was very excited to see that Aldi finally got cocoa powder in stock again, and although it went from $1.99 to $2.29, it is still $0.50 less than any of the competitor's prices. Another positive change at my local South Florida Aldi store was that Aldi finally got baking powder in the store. At $0.69, it is a price that cannot be beat.
