While South Florida is not getting the big price cut on avocados that some of you will (0.29 in Ohio and $0.39 in Alton, IL), I am still excited about $0.75 avocados, and I better pick up some $0.99 tortillas at Aldi too, because we will be having lots of Mexican inspired meals this week.
Avocado season in South Florida is not until sometime in July - August, and while my seven avocado trees won't be bearing avocados for a few year, we still do get lots of fresh avocados in the summer. I am just happy that Aldi can supply me with cheap avocados once in a while until then.
