Aldi Product Feature: Aldi Milk Price $0.99 - $1.99 (Hormone Free Milk) UPDATE: 7/13 $2.39

Aldi milk hormone free
Aldi Milk Price $1.99
With four lactose intolerant family members, my family's milk budget is through the roof. This is why I am so excited that Aldi has a low price on regular milk. I am the only person in my family, who can drink regular milk, and the South Florida Aldi milk price of $1.99 (7/13/11 updated: $2.39) for a gallon (Sometimes $0.99 on sale) is a price that is hard to beat.

Amanda from Saving Myself Silly reports that 1 gallon of milk is usually $0.99 in Dallas, TX, so some of you should get this fabulous Aldi price on milk most of the time.

As for the milk it tastes just like any other milk I have tried, I usually buy the fat free skim milk for my breakfast cereal, and thanks to Aldi I no longer feel guilty about drinking milk, as the otherwise high cost of milk usually makes me prioritize getting milk for the kids only.

One of the great things about our South Florida Aldi milk from Friendly Farms is that it is free of artificial growth hormones. That's a big plus in my book. I have; however, seen reports that not all Aldi stores carry Friendly Farms hormone free milk, so check the milk at your local Aldi store.

I have not found lactose free or soy milk (wishful thinking) at Aldi, but Kelli from Simmering Over The Kolz has found soy milk at her local upstate New York Aldi store.

I would love to hear what your regular and sale prices are on 1 gallon milk?
Do you have soy milk at your stores?

  1. I haven't looked at the milk yet, but Sarah is stopping in tomorrow while she is in town and I'll ask her to check. My mom drinks any milk, but we get the hormone free milk (some of us have had some reactions to regular milk)--so would be great if they have it.

  2. Oh, and btw, I think it is great your milk comes in a pink wrapping--since you are the gal of the house and it is all for you :-).

  3. Ours is friendly farms and hormone free and steroid. I have noticed since they opened that the walmart store brand and other store brands are now labeled hormone and steroid free. I think they have started a nice trend around here ;)

  4. In my area, it is Friendly Farms & hormone-free. It is NOT however, .99 or 1.99 per gallon. I just bought their skim for $2.15/gal. this week and that has come down some in price this past month. It was higher. I'm in the St. Louis, MO metro area.

  6. Ours is hormone free, but it is in a different shaped gallon. It comes from Atlanta Dairies (their trucks deliver). It costs around $2.39 for a gallon, which is still a decent price for us.

Our stores also carry soy milk, at $1.99/half gallon.

  7. Our store in central Fl doesn't say anything about being hormone free so I am thinking it does. I will check.

    1. Whirley, I was so excited to discover that Aldi had lactose free milk. It is still rather expensive at $5.58 for a gallon, but if I cannot find a sale and coupon, I am definitely picking it up at Aldi.

  9. I routinely buy the Friendly Farms milk. I have seen the name brand Prairie Farms truck delivering at my local Aldi. Word is its the same product, different label.
