Simple Aldi Recipes: Banana Orange Muffins - A Perfect Beach Snack

I needed a semi-healthy snack to bring to the beach on Sunday, so Saturday night my four-year-old son helped me make banana orange muffins for our beach trip.

The ingredients:
3 cups of flour
1 tsp of baking soda
A hint of salt

3/4 cups of brown sugar
1/2 cup of butter
3 eggs
2 1/2 cup overripe bananas
1/2 cup of freshly pressed orange juice

  1. Cream the sugar and butter
  2. Add the eggs one at a time
  3. Mix the dry ingredients together in a small bowl.
  4. Add the dry ingredients
  5. Add the Orange juice
  6. Mash the bananas and stir them in the mixture with a spoon.
  7. Add to muffin holders (or make a banana-orange bread)
  8. Bake in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees F for about 15 minutes.
