Aldi Produce Shopping & More - Saved $15 - Link Up At The Aldi Savings Linky

Aldi Produce

After a Thanksgiving hiatus from Aldi shopping, my fruit bowl and produce drawer was close to empty. I also went to update my Aldi price list, and I was amazed to discover that many of my favorite Aldi products had seen yet another round of Aldi price increases. While all the Aldi price increases were small, they are considerably larger when you compare with the Aldi prices a year ago, which means less savings and shopping more at other stores.

My Aldi Shopping Trip

Savings are calculated compared to the lowest price at my regular grocery stores. Take a look at the Aldi price list and price comparison list with Publix, Target, Winn-Dixie and Walmart.

I would love to hear how you did on your grocery shopping this week. You can link up below, and you can also link up at the Weekly Savings Linky at Frugality Is Free, where I post all of my shopping for the week.

  1. I started going to Sam's Club for milk - the prices at Aldi have gone up. I can now get a gallon of skim milk for $2.79 (instead of $3.59) and a gallon of whole milk for $3.49. Very happy.

  2. Carly, I am going to look around more for milk as well. My first alternative was to get the 1/2 gallon at Aldi, but when I came home I realized it was 2 percent, and I usually drink fat free.

My kids drink expensive lactose free milk.

  3. I skipped my Aldi trip this week because tom Thumb had milk on sale for $1.99 (same price as our Aldi) so I grabbed it there while I shopped. The only other thing I really needed and was going to get at aldi was pancake syrup (i wasn't paying $1 more at tom thumb), but i think we will live without that. =)

  4. Amanda, a gallon of milk now costs $2.79 at our South Florida Aldi store and a dozen eggs $1.59!!!! Thinks certainly has changed in a year!

I have been out scouting the prices this week, and I have a lot of work in front of me as I sit down with the grocery price comparison list....almost everything went up, up, up....
