Aldi Shopping - I Saved $15 - Come Link Up At The Aldi Savings Linky

Today my boys and I were hoping to go to the beach, but that did not happen. In order for us to go to the beach another day, it meant that we needed to get some grocery shopping done. Of course the fact that we were out of milk, meat, bread and watermelon also demanded a visit to Aldi.

There were no possibility of a ride to Aldi as my husband was working, so I gathered up all three boys, water for the entire day, snacks and more for a special outing. We got on the bus, which amazingly was free for some reason, and we managed to get to Target, Publix, Aldi and the post office. The main visit was to a nearby park with playground though, but we did a lot of walking. We actually walked five miles today, so I think we are pretty much ready for walking home from the beach one of these days. It will not be tomorrow though, as we are all pretty much exhausted from today.

Anyways, as for our Aldi shopping I got the basics, and then I ended up buying meat for the entire week, as I have the feeling I will not be able to get to Publix until next week. Today I only picked up orange juice (which was on sale) and juice pouches for our trips at Publix, and it was a good thing I picked up OJ, because Aldi was completely out.

  1. Today was "Dump the Pump Day" in Broward County. The buses were supposed to be free if you turned in a gas receipt, but I guess they made it free for everyone!
