Aldi Price Increases and Price Decreases

This week I discovered Aldi price increases on some of my favorite Aldi products, but fortunately I also uncovered some price decreases. I am a bit worried about the price increases on baking goods though, as this was one of the main attractions of Aldi. Hopefully, the prices will eventually go down again, and I was relieved to see that the flour tortillas were still at $0.99 and a gallon of milk at $1.99.

Take a look at the price differences I spotted:

Aldi Price Increases:

Product Was Now
Salt $0.33 $0.35
Flour $1.69 $1.79
Rice 10 lb $4.49 $4.99
Lullabies $5.39 $5.49
Grape Jelly  $1.39 $1.49
White Bread 20 oz $0.89 $0.99
Naval oranges $2.29 $2.49

Aldi Price Decreases:

Product Was Now
Sugar $2.89 $2.68
Honey $2.59 $2.39
Grape Tomatoes  $2.09 $1.79
Ice burg lettuce $1.59 $1.29
Yellow Onions 3 lb $1.79 $1.69
Red Potatoes $2.89 $2.69

Did you notice any new Aldi price increases this week?

  1. Our bread wad gone from $0.69 to $0.79. Cat litter from $3.69 to $3.99, 12 pack drinks from $1.99 to $2.29. Those are just a few things I noticed yesterday, but it would have been because I was shopping at a different store across town. I've noticed my store has had lower prices than others around here, which is strange but I'm not complaining.

I can't believe your tortillas are so cheap! Ours are like $1.79! But with the Hispanic groceries around here I can get them cheaper (but not $0.99) and freshly made.

  2. Wow, I cannot believe the price of your tortillas! I had heard some stores increasing the price, but that is quite a price difference.

When the 12 pk juice goes to $2.29, it is basically cheaper to buy on sale with coupons at other stores.

  3. The tortillas are over $2 at the grocery stores. Every once in a while they will put them on sale for $1 but then be sold out forever. And I meant 12pk diet cokes hehe. I've gotten my husband addicted now.
