  1. This is a great price on sweet potatoes and we love sweet potatoes in this family. With the price of gas I am having a problem deciding if I need to go to Aldi this week. With the saving on milk and the sweets I will probably go.

I was upset that they were out of the spinach and oranges the last time I went. If they are out of stock this time it will definitely put a damper on my trips to Aldi. But I did buy two packages of salmon on my last trip. Can't beat Aldi's price on salmon.,

I get the impression that you are not a coffee drinker or else you would have the price of Aldi's coffee. I think it is good coffee and the price is way below my regular stores .... even if the store is having a sale.

  2. June, you are we are right, we are not coffee drinkers. My dad is coming in a couple of weeks though, and I am planning on having him do an Aldi coffee review:)

I understand about the gas prices, I was considering it as well. But the Target is next to it, and by shopping at that Target compared to our local one I saved a bunch in coupons.

I do find that the price saved at Aldi do outweigh the fact that it takes a few extra miles to get there, but I also had to consider our trip carefully this week.

I was disappointed that I could not find the salmon on Wednesday. Our SF Aldi gets the truck in on Friday, so late Friday is a good time to go. I have heard that there are plans to build a storage facility in Davie though, and since there are plans underway to build several new SFl Aldi stores here.

  3. Where did you hear this? My Aldi is not next to or near any of my regular stores. It is in an area that has had trouble keeping tenants, so I am assuming the rent is lower in this area.

I will look forward to your father's opinion on the coffee. I am by no means a connoisseur of coffee but I do like Aldi's coffee. Maybe my like is influenced by the price :0

  4. June, I read a couple of articles earlier this year. I will give you an update if I hear any more about it.

Next time your Aldi is out of something, ask someone when the store will come in again. I like to shop on Wednesday when the new ad starts, but I have encountered a shortage of oj twice on Wednesdays.
